Introduction:

LMIA and Work Permit

A Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a certificate issued by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) to evaluate the effects of employing a foreign national in Canada. A favorable LMIA shows that there is no available Canadian citizen or permanent resident for the job, allowing the employer to recruit a foreign national. Conversely, an unfavorable LMIA indicates that a Canadian citizen or permanent resident should be hired for the position.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and is now a Specialist of Canadian Immigration Law. She coached many new Immigration Consultants.
