Introduction:

The CICC Code of Professional Conduct outlines the standards and ethical expectations for immigration consultants and includes a structured process for addressing violations. Disciplinary proceedings begin with complaint submission and assessment. Valid complaints are reviewed by the Complaints Committee, which may refer serious matters to the Discipline Committee for a formal hearing. Sanctions for confirmed breaches can include fines, suspension, or revocation of licenses. This process ensures accountability, upholds professional standards and protects public trust.
